My parents have always had an affinity for the outdoors. This passion has been expressed over the years through camping trips, canoeing expeditions, hiking, and, on a more daily basis, gardening. Their most recent display of green thumb came in the form of this night-blooming cereus, which bloomed last night, August 11th, between 9pm and 10pm. This amazing flower, often referred to as 'princess of the night,' blooms on average only once a year and always at night. We were lucky enough to experience it's beautiful transformation last night and are eagerly awaiting it's next bloom.
Wow. That is amazing and a beautiful photo! The lighting is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Would you believe that the lighting was just done with a flash light!
